Evidence decides what happens next.
Every active venture is reviewed at least every 90 days. The review ends in one of three decisions, and one of them is to stop.
A venture studio that never stops anything is not running experiments. It is running hope on a schedule.
Ighodalo Labs moves ventures through four stages. Prospect asks whether there should be a relationship here at all. Explore asks what the smallest credible experiment would be. Build assembles capability and runs toward real evidence. Scale continues with less intensive studio support.
At least every 90 days, each active venture meets a review. The review ends in one of three decisions. Ship, and the venture graduates from intensive support. Iterate, and it runs another bounded experiment against a new target. Kill, and active support for that thesis stops.
The third one is the one that matters. Stopping applies to the thesis, not to the founder. A founder whose first thesis does not survive contact with evidence has learned something expensive and is often better equipped for the next one.
